Hi, I'm Brian.

I'm a software engineer by day and one half of BZ FurFur. While Zona creates handcrafted pyrography and leather artwork, I handle much of the technical side of the business and spend my free time creating pixel art.

I've always loved retro computers, classic video games, and the music of the 8-bit and 16-bit era. That appreciation eventually turned into a love for pixel art—a medium where every illustration is created by placing individual pixels one at a time to create detailed, low-resolution artwork.

You'll often find me alongside Zona at art shows, markets, and festivals, helping run the booth and talking with fellow artists and collectors.
